This month, we are pleased to feature Edyn for our Student Spotlight. Edyn is a very engaged student at the Mammoth Middle School who has participated in our Create With the Greats Program.
Why do you love the arts?
I love art because it makes me feel happy, I can express my feelings. I love colors and I love all things really colorful.
2. What is a favorite piece of art you have created?
I really like making sculptures and modeling things. The favorite piece of art I remember seeing was In third grade - there was a teeter-totter of abstract balancing sculptures that inspired me.
3. What would you say to a friend to get them interested in the arts? No idea.
4. Why are the arts so important right now?
I don’t know … maybe to express feelings and relieve stress.
