Bishop artist Rhonda Hemphill finds inspiration in the trees, plants and mountains of the Eastern Sierra. She's intrigued by the surrealism of Salvador Dali and influenced by the bold colors and lines of artist Ed Mell and Doug West from her time living in Taos, New Mexico. Her watercolors capture nature at its most vivid, sharply defined in vibrant color.
May 5th, 2019 - August 3rd, 2019
Our local landscape impresses any viewer with extremes in light and shadow, stark peaks against storm clouds, and pink skies that reflect off cool stone. Bishop artist Gary Clark excels at photographing the drama as well as the peace that often accompanies beauty in the wilderness. His photography captures the secrets and soul of the Eastern Sierra.
