Mono Arts Council (MAC) will present its 48th annual Labor Day Festival of the Arts this September 2-4 in Mammoth Lakes, CA.  Set high among the pines, this world class Festival provides fairgoers a beautiful viewing and buying experience. Over the course of 3 days, visitors and residents of Mammoth Lakes will enjoy 110+ exhibiting visual artists, sample international food, local craft beers and wine, listen to live musical performances and entertain families with kid’s art workshops.  The quality of the participating juried artists contributes to the Festival’s continued recognition as the premiere visual art show in the Eastern Sierra.

Mono Arts Council, a non-profit organization will present its 47th annual Labor Day Festival of the Arts September 2-5, 2016 in Mammoth Lakes, CA.  Set high among the pines, this world class Festival provides fairgoers a beautiful viewing and buying experience. 

Over the course of 4 days, visitors and residents of Mammoth Lakes will enjoy 110+ exhibiting visual artists, sample international food, local craft beers and wine, listen to live musical performances and entertain families with kid’s art workshops.  The quality of the participating juried artists contributes to the Festival’s continued recognition as the premiere visual art show in the Eastern Sierra.

The unique alpine setting of Sam’s Woodsite transcends this free Festival into a truly enchanting experience for all ages.  MAC is committed to enrich the community by showcasing the quality and diversity of the visual and performing arts at the highest levels.

Proceeds from the Labor Day Festival of the Arts help to fund year round art programs benefitting all Mono County schools produced by Mono Arts Council.   

New this year will be a raffle to help raise funds for more art programming in Mono County.  Visit the information booth to purchase your tickets and see the beautiful art work that will be available for the raffle.

AMENITIES:

Parking: Free Parking along Minaret Road. Free Trolley service within Mammoth Lakes city limits.

ATM and Credit Cards:  No ATM is available on site.  Most vendors accept credit cards.

Festival Rules:  For the safety and enjoyment of all Festival attendees, please observe the following rules.  Smoking is not permitted.  No photos or videos of artwork without Artist’s permission. Please use trash receptacles and recycle all glass, cans and plastic in the designated bins around the Festival site. Bears will roam the site after hours. Please be aware of bears. Do not leave trash or food.

Official Festival Merchandise:  Labor Day T-shirts, sweatshirts and MAC canvas bags, stickers, grocery totes available at the Information Booth. 

Pets: Dogs on leashes are welcome at the Festival.

Rest Rooms:  Portable facilities are located at opposite ends of the Festival site.

Beverage: Alcoholic beverages are sold within the Festival site.  Regulations require that alcoholic beverages purchased at the event remain on-site.  Please don’t drink and drive; let a taxi be your designated driver.   Mammoth Taxi – (760) 934-8294
